Why subscribe?
These works are an exploration into my own subjective experience to what I consider to be ubiquitous emotions, and a shared memory nattered upon by Carl Jung and his theory of the collective unconscious. Be it the writings, the podcast sessions, or further endeavors, what you participate in by subscribing is the furthering of individual creativity.
Substack works on a word-of-mouth system, and in the digital age that is to mean subscriptions and sharing. The more eyes that are on these works, the more it will grow organically. We all have creativity within ourselves. I am not special in this regard. That is largely the direction I try and return the conversation to as you will see in the content. If these writings inspire anything in you that furthers that conversation, I have done what I set out to do. If we can support one another in our personal endeavors, we will grow.
Finally, putting these works together is itself work. I love what I am doing but as the bills add up, I - like everyone else - must engage in the world I live in. Paid subscriptions offset the costs that are otherwise filled by working traditional hours and, consequently, not producing this material. There are so many distractions vying for your attention and for your dollars. I am not trying to sell you on products you don’t need with money you don’t have. You don’t need to do anything.
I’m asking you to sit and to consider the words I have said in your own life and by the nature of that consideration, I can guarantee you this: your days will deepen in their measure. I would love to sit with you, but this will have to do for now. Please support my work. Anything worth saying has already been said but to write it down captivates and renews our shared memory of it.
